Description
The Secret Doctrine is the basic document of the Theosophical Movement and contains, according to Mme. Blavatsky, that portion of the “accumulated Wisdom of the ages which its Guardians, the Masters of the Wisdom, offered mankind under the name of Theosophy, the Divine Wisdom.” All other volumes on Theosophy may add to one’s understanding of it; they are not, even collectively, a substitute for it. Here in outline is the Tree of Wisdom of which theology, science, philosophy, psychology and religion are but branches. Every field of modern thought can profit by a study of these matters.
An abridgement, edited by Elizabeth Preston and Christmas Humphreys.
